Use Your Voice

You have a voice, use it.

Don’t be afraid to speak up.

It’s easy to get caught up in consuming endless content that’s available to us 24/7 and in the palm of our hand.

The technology, social media, the internet, etc. obviously all have infinite pros and cons to be debated but look at it this way:

You’re either creating or consuming.

There’s a balance to be sought out for both.

We need to consume. It’s how we learn and experience new perspectives and ideas.

But when you consume too much, your wires can get crossed. You can start to see negative side effects such as imposter syndrome, anxiety, esteem diminishing comparison to others, lack of action, etc.

When you’re creating, you’re contributing to the world. Whether that’s through your product/service, written and spoken messages, making music, teaching a skill, inspiring others, etc.

While your creativity is infinite, you’ll find that you need to consume as well to keep everything flowing.

Focus on finding that healthy balance for yourself.

Consume what’s necessary and enjoyable, and create your contributions to the world.
